Our Story
Splish Splash Swim was founded by a husband and wife team who saw a need for high-quality, personalized swim lessons for families in the greater Sacramento area. With over a decade of experience teaching swimming to hundreds of children, they decided to start their own business to accommodate their growing client base. Today, Splish Splash Swim is a family-owned operation that is dedicated to helping kids stay safe and confident in the water.

Sara Jovanovic
The pool is my happy place! After 10 years of swimming competitively and as an intercollegiate athlete my attention shifted to focus more on passing along this amazing experience to the next generation. After working with children through other roles in my life, I realized that teaching was my real passion. I have worked with hundreds of children, watching their confidence and skills improve in the pool and now have over 12 years of teaching swimming under my belt! I focus on finding the best strategies for all types of learners that help them excel at their own comfort and pace in the pool!
Vladimir Jovanovic
As a lifelong swimmer I see the need for this essential skill set wherever I go! I have over 8 years of experience swimming competitively in Europe and in the United States. After finishing my swimming career I decided to focus more heavily on teaching lessons. Currently I have over 11 years of experience teaching a wide range of ages, skills sets, and programs. Swimming is a tool that is essential during the summer months here in California and I strive to ensure my swimmers are prepared and successful for anything they might encounter in the pool!
